“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation;
old things have passed away;
behold, all things have become new.”
2 Cor 5:17
May God bless your brand new life when you come to Jesus!
Yes…those who end their addiction become ‘new’ too!
Our God is a God of many second chances.
All addiction is, is sin…a bad choice…a substitute for HIM gone wrong; there are NO substitutes for God.
He understands your search. He hopes your own personal road leads back to Him.
This is how it ends when you choose not to end your addiction.
This is how your loved one will end up if you don’t intervene and rescue him or her.
The victim is the user and he/she can’t make the choice for himself or herself most of the time…unless you intervene.
Addiction takes hostages…the family.
Addiction owns your soul until it’s ended.
Jesus came so that you can be set Free Forever…without steps….without being tagged an ‘addict’…without sponsors…without wagons…without ever looking back.
Move forward ………………. with Jesus! Today.
She was a person…a beautiful woman…she had the voice of an angel. Remember her as the diva she was and the joy that she gave to all of us. Don’t remember her as an ‘addict’. Addiction stems from despair. It can happen to anyone. I feel the the media is making her into some disheveled addict who lost her glitz and glitter. Please remember her for being a great artist who was only human. If she could have left us all a message, it would have been to get help before the addiction hits.
